Card making, rubber stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters

This is the place to ask us anything you want. (Well, almost anything!) Need to know where to find storage for your stamps? Having trouble with a video? Need to find out what size dies nest together? Here is the place to ask!

Members of our moderation team, design team and I will check this thread often and help you with your important stamping questions. And your question may help others too!

Every Monday, we will lock the previous week's thread and start a new thread with the current week's date. You will still be able to read the questions and answers posted in past week's threads, however, by starting a new thread each week, you won't have to scroll back 50 pages to find answers to your questions.

Please ask your questions here in this thread and not by starting new threads as we can't keep track of all of those and have to delete those.

So go ahead. Ask us. We're ready to help! :)

Copied from previous week:

I just moved and found some Stamp TV Kits and finally opened them up.  What is the purpose of the two shiny papers that have two holes as if to put into a ring binder?  Thanks!

Hiya Betsy!  Those sheets are to 'store' you stamps on and place in a Binder box that Gina sells in the store.  Here is a link to see how they fit:

Hope this helps ya!

I have read  suggestions to use wax paper when cutting an intricate design with your cutter. I have a cuttlebug and I would like to know where in the sandwich should the wax paper be placed? Thank you for your help

Kathleen, I place it between the paper and the die.  It does seem to help.

To Gina K. And her design team:
I would like to see the GKD team create a stamp set for runners. The set might include male and female runner, wording would say you can do it, you did it, half marathon, 26.1 miles, ultra marathon, 5k run, 10k run, nice job, etc. The stamp set would make great congrats cards. This type of stamp set does not exist and I know other scampers are looking for this. I hope you will consider creating such a stamp set.

I bought the stamp set elegant florals and thought I had seen a card done with this set that I really liked. Do you know where I might find that? I did a search on the stamp set but nothing came up and I looked at release parties and don't see it. Maybe I don't have the right month? And who was the designer for this set?

Sharon, I did a search in the Main Gallery and this is what I came up with:   Maybe the card you saw is in there?  Hope so.

The set is by Theresa Momber, you could always check out her Blog as well here:

Thank you Donna I'll go have a look!

Has the winner for Seasons Givings on Gina's blog been announced? Thanks.

Stay tuned!  Gina will be choosing her winner and I will be announcing mine on my blog!  It's a crazy release week!  Yaaaay!!!  LOL

Would like to know when we can expect a release of a new Stamp TV kit.  I recently started purchasing the wonderful stamps from Stamp TV.  I love love love them.

Hiya Mary!  Welcome to the wonderful world of Gina K Designs!  :D  We love all of them too!  The next kit should be out next month.  We try to do one every other month, with the holidays it came out to be about 2 months between times.  But yes, next month look for one!

The release this Thursday night has all kinda of exciting new things, besides the stamps!  Ribbon, cardstocks, inks...INKS!!  yay!

Aloha from sunny Hawaii. Don't be too envious, I'm heading back to the cold north in a few weeks! My question: doing wedding invitations. Bride is doing nautical theme with sailboat on front. Which red in the card stock would be the best against the navy and white?
Also, anyone have any great ideas for the invite? The sample she sent me is very pedestrian and I'd like to be a bit more creative. I have Copics to use too.
no longer have my Cricut so can't cut anything too fancy. I do have a Cuttlebug tho. Any ideas and suggestions are very welcome.....Mahalo, Leslie
